Cathcart & District Housing Association (CDHA) is a community-controlled housing association, governed by a Board of Management made up of local members.
CDHA is led by a Board of Management of up to 15 tenants, residents and other individuals with an interest and/or skill that suits the aims of the Association. Each Board Member brings particular skills and experience to the governing body.
The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Association, providing challenge and oversight of the staff team to ensure that all decisions and services are provided and delivered in the best interests of our tenants and customers. The Board meets monthly.
We currently have a casual vacancy on our Board and would welcome applications from our tenants.
This role offers you the opportunity to lead the strategic direction of a growing organisation, playing a key role in delivering high-quality services to our customers and defining goals and targets.

Our Model Rules (pages 14-15) outline the reasons why a person may be ineligible to serve as a Board Member.
All Board Members are expected to sign up to the Code of Conduct which sets out the standards and performance expected of Board Members.
