The Association offer all owners the option to be included in our Common Buildings Insurance policy through Bruce Stevenson. The policy covers each individual property for full reinstatement value. The premium is currently £91.90 per annum and is collected through Factors Bills.
Commercial premises can also be included in the policy, please contact the office for details. The premium for commerical properties is £64.16 per annum.
The excesses imposed on the policy is £250.00 for each claim. The policy covers the usual Buildings Insurance perils which include Fire, Storm, Vandalism, Theft and Accidental Damage. Claims are made by the Association on behalf of the owners and we experience very few problems.
Please note that the Association is responsible for ensuring that all properties are adequately covered and all owners, with their own policy, must submit a copy to the Association on an annual basis.
