Paying your rent
CDHA can now offer tenants several ways in which to pay your rent.
By Allpay rent card - this card can be used at any paypoint outlet
By bank giro credit - use this pay in book at any Royal Bank of Scotland
By Standing Order - set up a regular payment through your bank
We also offer telephone banking which allows payments to be made by calling the office and we can process your card payment. We believe this will assist in the collection of arrears.
Owners can also use our telephone banking stream-lined system to make payments to their factoring accounts.
If you are concerned that your account may be or about to be in arrears please call our housing management staff who will assist you at as early a stage as possible.
Arrears are difficult to collect when they have mounted up, by ignoring first and second reminders. We will pursue arrears through the court process if necessary but will offer every assistance in the early stages to avoid that.
We have a Welfare Benefits Officer working in our office who will be happy to assist in matters to do with ensuring you are claiming what you are entitled to.
