About the Association

Cathcart & District Housing Association is a community controlled housing association and local members make up the board of management.  Our aim is to make the community a desirable place to live.

We have 560 houses in the local area and manage a further 400 on behalf of Owner occupiers .  Our turnover is approximately 4 houses per month and we have an active waiting list which is reviewed regularly in order to ensure it remains live.

Our regular maintenance programme ensures our properties stay in a well preserved condition and each year we carry out regular cyclical projects such as gutter cleaning and close paintaing.  In addtion to this we have a rolling programme of planned maintenance to ensure components are replaced/renewed at the end of their useful life.
